Applications open for 11th Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2025

Kathmandu, June 17 – Applications are now open for the 11th edition of Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2025, an annual program that honors Nepali teenagers (ages 13 to 19) who are making a positive difference in their communities beyond schoolwork. The event is organized by Glocal Pvt. Ltd. and supported by Golchha Group.

First launched in 2015 in Kathmandu, the program expanded across Nepal in 2016 and later reached India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, becoming a major platform to recognize youth achievements across South Asia.

Teenagers who demonstrate leadership, creativity, and social impact can apply or be nominated through glocalteenhero.com/nepal until July 30, 2025. This year, the organizers aim to reach youth in more than 60 cities across Nepal.

After the initial screening, 20 standout teens will be named the “20under20,” from which six finalists will be chosen. These finalists will be judged on the impact, vision, and sustainability of their work.

The grand finale will feature a panel of prominent judges including:

Chandrika Kalia, Country Director, Coca-Cola Nepal

Dr. Ghana Shyam Gurung, Country Director, WWF Nepal

Seema Golchha, Director, Golchha Group

Suraj Vaidya, President, VOITH

Thomas Miller, Charge d'Affaires, European Union to Nepal

The program is backed by various partners, including the European Union and the Embassy of India as strategic supporters.
