Gold price rises by Rs 4,200 per tola, reaches Rs 197,100

KATHMANDU, JUNE 13 — The price of gold in the Nepali market rose sharply by Rs 4,200 per tola on Friday, continuing its recent upward trend. This comes a day after a Rs 1,600 increase on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold reached Rs 197,100 per tola today, up from Rs 192,900 on Thursday.

Silver also saw a rise of Rs 15 per tola, bouncing back to Rs 2,165 after falling to Rs 2,150 on Thursday.
