Nepal begins Johnson & Johnson vaccination for people with disabilities

Kathmandu, July 20 – Nepal began administering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, marking the rollout of the third vaccine approved for public use in the country. The vaccination drive started at the Nepal Disabled Association in Kathmandu, where people with disabilities received the single-dose vaccine.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine, donated by the U.S. government through the COVAX initiative, has brought much-needed relief to Nepal, which has been struggling with a shortage of COVID-19 vaccines.
