The bodies of four family members brutally murdered in Dhodlekhani, Ramprasad Rai Rural Municipality-2, Bhojpur, were sent to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan today for forensic examination.
The victims were initially taken to the District Hospital on Sunday, but due to a lack of forensic facilities there, they had to be transported to Dharan.
The accused, 30-year-old Rajendra Rai of Bhojpur Municipality-2, killed his wife Manisa Giri (16), father-in-law Bel Bahadur Giri (68), mother-in-law Manju Giri (45), and brother-in-law Sapan Giri (9) on Saturday night using a sharp weapon. He is currently receiving treatment in Dharan.
