Bimal Paudel Named Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court
KATHMANDU, JULY 28 — Bimal Paudel has been appointed as the new chief registrar of the Supreme Court. The decision was made today during a meeting of the Judicial Service Commission, according to Judicial Council Spokesperson Dr. Ashok Kumar Chhetri.
The position became vacant on Sunday after former chief registrar Devendra Dhakal retired upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 58.
In other appointments, Man Bahadur Karki has been named joint registrar of the Supreme Court, and joint attorney Surya Raj Dahal has been appointed secretary of the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons.
