Current Point opens in Kathmandu, offering exciting new tastes for spicy noodle lovers

Yashoda Foods, the maker of the popular spicy snack Current Noodles, has opened a new branch of its noodle outlet Current Point in Kathmandu. This is the second outlet after the first one gained huge popularity in Butwal.

The new Current Point opened on Friday, July 11, in Anamnagar, opposite Singha Durbar on the way to New Plaza. According to the company, the Kathmandu outlet was launched in response to growing consumer demand. Popular actress and brand ambassador Keki Adhikari attended the opening, drawing a large crowd of fans and food lovers.

Chunna Prasad Paudel, Chairman of Yashoda Foods, said the love and support from Butwal customers motivated them to bring Current Point to the capital. “We aim to offer a great hangout spot for noodle lovers in Kathmandu, especially those who enjoy bold, spicy flavors,” he said.

G.P. Shah, the company’s Global CEO, shared more details about the wide variety of Current products during the event. The Kathmandu outlet will serve a range of Current Noodles dishes, with options to customize spice levels and flavors. The company hopes the outlet will become a hit, especially among young customers looking for unique and tasty food experiences.
