DS Group’s Catch Spices launches in Nepal, bringing its trusted flavours to local kitchens.

Kathmandu, July 11 – Catch Spices, a popular brand from India’s DS Group, has officially entered the Nepali market. Known for its quality and innovation, Catch aims to bring its wide variety of spices to Nepali households, adding to the country's rich food culture.

With this move, Catch Spices is introducing a broad range of products, including pure spices, blends, pastes, and whole spices. These are made using advanced Low-Temperature Grinding (LTG) technology, which helps retain the spices’ natural aroma, flavor, color, and texture.

For now, Catch Spices products are available in the Kathmandu Valley and will gradually expand to other parts of Nepal. Consumers can find them in big stores like Bhat Bhateni, smaller local shops, army canteens, hotels, restaurants, and online through platforms like Daraz.

Speaking about the launch, Sandeep Ghosh, Business Head of Catch Spices, said, “We’re excited to be part of Nepal’s spice market. People are looking for high-quality spices that bring consistent taste and aroma to their meals, and Catch is ready to meet that demand with our specially tailored products.”

To further connect with Nepali consumers, Catch Spices has partnered with renowned Nepali chef Santosh Shah as its brand ambassador. Chef Shah expressed his support, saying, “As a chef, I know how crucial good spices are. Catch Spices offers top-notch quality that will be loved by home cooks and professional chefs alike.”

The brand is launching a major promotional campaign across TV, newspapers, radio, billboards, and social media. It also plans to organize in-person events to let consumers experience the products directly. The campaign will continue throughout the upcoming festive season, including Teej and Dussehra. Chef Shah will be featured in advertisements and events, sharing cooking tips and recipes using Catch Spices.

Catch Spices was first launched in India in 1987 with a unique salt sprinkler and has since grown into a brand offering over 125 spice products across nine categories.
