Dusit Princess Kathmandu Serves Up Creative Flavors with “Bhatmas on Fire” at Kibu Sky Lounge
Kathmandu, July 10 – Dusit Princess Kathmandu has launched a unique food festival called “Bhatmas on Fire”, putting a creative twist on edamame (locally known as bhatmas). Running daily from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am until July 18, the event takes place at the rooftop Kibu Sky Lounge, offering a mix of local and international flavors.
The festival highlights soybean in ways not commonly seen in Nepal — from street-style snacks to fine dining fusion dishes. Each recipe is crafted with care and creativity, aiming to surprise and delight food lovers.
Set against the city skyline, Kibu Sky Lounge provides a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere — ideal for a casual hangout after work, a sunset date, or a late-night culinary experience.
Samir Banerjee, Cluster General Manager of Dusit Princess Kathmandu and Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel, described the festival as “a bold and modern celebration of flavor,” adding that the team is excited to offer a new perspective on edamame in a memorable setting.
“Bhatmas on Fire” is more than just a food event — it’s a culinary journey that reimagines a traditional ingredient in fun and innovative ways.
