Sisan Baniya hints he may stop YouTube vlogging after Tihar
Kathmandu, July 18 – Popular Nepali vlogger Sisan Baniya left fans surprised and puzzled on Thursday evening after hinting that he may soon end his YouTube journey.
In a message posted on his Instagram broadcast channel, Baniya wrote:
“I’ll vlog only until Tihar. After that, the Sisan Baniya YouTube era will end.”
He didn’t provide any explanation, which sparked a wave of confusion among his followers. Many fans responded with concern, asking “Why?” and urging him not to stop vlogging.
While some took the post seriously, others thought it might be a joke or a light-hearted remark. Baniya hasn’t clarified the statement yet, and efforts to reach him for comment have been unsuccessful.
Observers have suggested two possibilities: either Baniya truly plans to stop vlogging after Tihar, or the post was playful and he may continue making content—or even hand over the channel to someone else.
Interestingly, just before his announcement, Baniya had polled his followers asking, “What should I do next?” with many choosing “more vlogs.” He had also recently told fans, “Daily vlogs are coming.”
His YouTube channel is still active, with new uploads including recent vlogs from Mustang. He is also reportedly working on a video related to Indian MMA fighter Ravindra Dhant’s upcoming fight on August 2.
Until Baniya offers more clarity, fans are left wondering whether this truly marks the end of an era—or just another twist in his content journey.
