Trishuli (Nuwakot), July 30
The Bhotekoshi River flooded again early this morning, causing concern for people living downstream.
Officials from Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts have warned those living along the riverbank to stay alert. Assistant Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Humagain said areas like Pairebensi, Betrawati, Trishuli, and Devighat are experiencing riverbank erosion due to the heavy flooding that started around 3:00 am.
To keep people safe, the local administration has deployed Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force to warn residents and help prevent any disasters. The flood has also damaged a transmission line station for the Trishuli-Kathmandu power line in Kispang Rural Municipality-5, Nuwakot, according to officials.
