Three recently appointed justices of the Supreme Court officially took their oath of office today, marking the start of their tenure on the bench.

 KATHMANDU, July 8 – Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut swore in three newly appointed Supreme Court justices—Megh Raj Pokharel, Shreekanta Poudel, and Shanti Singh Thapa—during a ceremony held at the Supreme Court today.

Their appointments were made by President Ramchandra Paudel on Monday, following approval by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee based on the recommendation of the Judicial Council. All three justices officially took office immediately after the swearing-in.

In a separate event, Chief Justice Raut also administered the oath of office to Mahesh Kumar Nepal, the newly appointed member of the Judicial Council.
