Five new ministers have been sworn in, completing the 14-member Cabinet of Bagmati Province.

Five new ministers joined the Bagmati Province government on Friday after taking the oath of office and secrecy. Province Chief Dipak Prasad Devkota administered the oath to Prabhat Tamang, Kanchan Chandra Bade, Suresh Shrestha, Armila KC Nepal, and Binu Rayamajhi. They were appointed earlier the same day by Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya.

Armila KC Nepal (Lalitpur) – Ministry of Youth and Sports

Suresh Shrestha (Bhaktapur) – Ministry of Culture and Tourism

Binu Rayamajhi (Chitwan) – Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation
With this, Chief Minister Baniya has completed his 14-member Cabinet. On August 5, he had already appointed eight ministers, including himself, and has now added five more, all from his party, the Nepali Congress.
Earlier appointments from the Nepali Congress included Krishna Tamang (Sindhupalchok) as Minister for Water Supply, Energy, and Irrigation, and Shivraj Adhikari (Dhading) as a minister without portfolio. Adhikari has now been assigned the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
On August 4, the CPN-UML ministers had also joined the Cabinet:
