Minister Rana says diplomatic efforts are underway to find and rescue Nepalis missing in the Uttarakhand floods.

 Kathmandu, Aug 8: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba said the government is working through diplomatic channels to find and rescue Nepali citizens missing after flash floods in Uttarakhand, India.

On her social media, Minister Rana said efforts began as soon as news came about Nepalis missing in the disaster.

She expressed shock over the incident and said the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi is actively coordinating with Indian authorities to help with the search and rescue.

Minister Rana also paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the floods and offered heartfelt condolences to their families.
