Nepal to play Saudi Arabia in second AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifier match

Kathmandu, August 8

Nepal will take on Saudi Arabia today in their second match of the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers in Thimphu, Bhutan.

The game will start at 1:45 p.m. at the Changlimithang Stadium, unlike their first match against Bhutan, which was played in the evening.

In their opening match, Nepal drew 1-1 with Bhutan, while Saudi Arabia suffered a crushing 15-0 loss to North Korea. The draw has made it harder for Nepal to top their group, especially with a tough match against North Korea still ahead.

Under the tournament rules, only the winners of each group and the two best runners-up will qualify for the Asian Cup.
