PM Oli Arrives in Turkmenistan for UN Conference on Landlocked Countries
Kathmandu, August 4 – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived in Turkmenistan today to take part in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs).
He was welcomed at Turkmenbashi International Airport by Turkmenistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov, Nepal’s UN Resident Representative Lok Bahadur Thapa, and other officials.
The Prime Minister and his delegation traveled to Awaza, Turkmenistan, via Dubai International Airport.
Prime Minister Oli is attending the conference following official invitations from Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedow and UN Secretary-General António Guterres. The conference will be held in Awaza from August 5 to 8.
