Rachana Dahal is set to release the music video for her song "Hey Bhagwan," which will feature a live performance.
Kathmandu, August 7 —
Three months after releasing the music video for "Timi Bhaye" from her album Janmadaag, which featured rapper Dmriti, singer-songwriter Rachana Dahal is preparing to launch the music video for her song “Hey Bhagwan” this Saturday at XO Club.
The premiere will be followed by a full live performance of the Janmadaag album. Rachana will be joined by her band members: Roshan Sharma on guitar, Roshan Putwar on flute, Kiran Shahi on drums, and Sanish Maharjan on bass.
The show’s technical team includes sound engineers Yukesh Pariyar and Iman Bikram Sha, lighting engineer Sakchhyam Chitrakar, and screen technician Kiran Thapa.
Besides “Hey Bhagwan” and “Timi Bhaye,” the album features other songs like “Asambhav,” “Alagav,” “Daagbatti,” and “Aagya.”
Rachana Dahal is well-known for her powerful songwriting, exploring themes like toxic relationships, mental health, and emotional struggles—important issues that are not often openly talked about in Nepali society.
