National Leadership Camp inspires more than 100 young leaders in Sydney.

Kathmandu, July 16

Over 100 high school students from all Australian states and territories gathered in Sydney for the 2026 National Leadership Camp — a four-day event designed to develop future leaders.

Organized by the youth group Burn Bright, the camp invited students from Years 10 to 12 to take part in keynote speeches, outdoor team activities, and small-group mentoring focused on leadership, character, and resilience.

For the first time, the 2026 camp included international students from Nepal and Indonesia, who joined Australian students to learn about leadership from different cultural viewpoints.

“This camp helps young people discover their values and see that they can be leaders right now,” said Layton Fraser from the camp’s leadership team.

A special part of the camp is its mentoring system, where each student is placed in a small group led by trained mentors to create a safe environment for personal growth.

With over 90 guest speakers and more than 2,500 past participants, the National Leadership Camp is well-known across Australia — and now internationally — for inspiring and empowering young people to become leaders.
